Yard Operative (4On 4Off Shift)

Due to the current growth of BCA, we are looking to recruit a Yard Operative to work at our site based at Rochester (BCA Kingsnorth).
This is an ideal role for a candidate who enjoys working outdoor and staying active. As a Yard Operative, you will have a chance for a personal development and progression to our supervisory and managerial roles.
We are looking for reliable, passionate, and professional individuals with a full UK driving license that wants to join the BCA family!
Salary: £26,300.00 per annum
Working Hours: 4on 4off 6:00-18:00
Main purpose of the job:
Within this role, you will be working as a part of Yard Operations Team, assisting with the daily operations of a busy site through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard.
You will be reporting to the Yard Team Leader and Supervisor. The yard and halls activities will be predominantly undertaken outdoors, this means that you will spend a significant proportion of their time exposed to all weather conditions throughout the year.
Main responsibilities:
Store and park all vehicles on site within the fleet yard, via agreed valet/wash services, so that vehicles enter and leave the site in accordance with the daily program
Barcode all new vehicles on arrival and tag keys
Log and remove any valuable items left in vehicle
Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed (training provided)
Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager.
Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met within the agreed deadlines.
Skills and experience required:
Full UK Driving Licence – you need to be comfortable to drive manual and automatic cars
You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
You will need the ability to work independently and as a part of the team
