Job Title: Senior/Principal Engineering Geologist
Location: Leeds or Manchester
Are you a skilled and experienced Engineering Geologist looking for a challenging new opportunity? We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior/Principal Engineering Geologist. If you are passionate about geology and have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, then this role may be perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical assessments at various stages, from desk top review to interpretation
Perform slope stability assessments and provide foundation recommendations
Conduct settlement assessments
Supervise ground investigations
Ideally, also contribute to contaminated land assessments
Write clear, concise, and technically robust reports
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
Hold a degree and/or master's degree in geology, engineering geology, or geotechnical engineering
Substantial experience in geotechnical assessment
Previous experience in slope stability assessment, foundation recommendations, and settlement assessment
Supervisory experience in ground investigations
Ideally, experience in contaminated land assessment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fully IT literate, including proficiency in writing technically robust reports
