SALARY: £11.00 PER HOUR - WEEKLY PAY
THE JOB:
We have a new position to join an established company in In South Ockendon. You will perform routine and specific Yard and Forklift Counterbalance Duties.
Main Duties
- You will be responsible for stock control and product maintenance and servicing equipment.
- Ensure that the housekeeping of the yard is to a high standard, and that all materials and equipment is stored correctly.
- Responsible for ensuring that all stock movements are accurately documented within the company procedure guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and painted upon return from clients.
- Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with in a courteous, speedy an effective manor within the agreed time scales.
- Load and unload vehicles promptly in a safely manor.
- Ensure all paperwork has been processed at the correct time to ensure the company does not have to raise any credit notes.
- Report any Damages or accidents immediately to the yard foreman or branch manager.
- Carry out any reasonable management instruction as instructed.
- Forklift Counterbalance loading and unloading duties.
The person:
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, this is a physical role it will involve some lifting, so will need to be physically fit, and someone who doesn’t mind getting stuck in and getting dirty, this is an outside role so you will need to be able to work in all weathers and be used to working outside, also hold your own Forklift Counterbalance Licence.
Skills and qualifications:
Must be motivated and proactive.
Must have an in-date Forklift Counterbalance Licence and at least 2 year's working experience on the Forklift.
To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
Be happy to work at a fast pace and busy environment.
The ability to work well under pressure.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be fit and able to lift items up to 20 kg.
Must hold your own in-date Forklift Licence.
