Year 1 Teacher - Manchester

We need you in Septmeber! Tradewind are currently seeking a Year 1 Teacher. This position will commence September 2024 on a full-time basis.

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £140 and £210 per day, depending on experience.

Year 1 Teacher
The successful and independent teacher will be responsible for a class which includes a pupil with specific medical needs. You will be supported by a Teaching Assistant.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS1 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the school's creative curriculum.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS1 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
• Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
• Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.

Essential Requirements:
-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1

-A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained
-The right to work in the UK
