Tradewind are currently looking to recruit a Year 3 Teacher for a primary school with a fantastic reputation in Hyde, Tameside. The role will commence September 2024 on a full-time basis and will be long-term covering a maternity. This role comes with a competitive salary (MPS 2-6) which is reflective of your experience but unfortunately on this occasion, the school are unable to consider ECTS for the role. The school is part of a wider trust with 6 other Tameside schools, as a result you will be enrolled into a high quality CPD programme that supports best practice. Staff across the trust work harmoniously to achieve desired outcomes, and the successful teacher will be welcomed into the KS2 department which is supportive, friendly, and a place in which to thrive.

About the Role

As the Year 3 Teacher, you will be accountable for the learning and progress of approximately 30 children within a mixed ability class. You will be expected to differentiate learning to both scaffold and stretch learners allowing every individual to unlock their learning potential. The class includes some children with SEND needs so experience writing and reviewing EHCPs will be highly beneficial. You will also be joined by a full-time TA.

• You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have direct teaching experience in the primary setting. KS2 highly desireable
