Year 3 Teaching Assistant

The Headteacher of an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’  Primary school in Wigan is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support in a Year 3 class. This role is Full time Monday-Friday and due to start immediately.

The school strives to create a safe, happy and fun place to learn where all pupils are encouraged to have a growth mindset.

The role will be supporting the Year 3 class generally in the morning and supporting on a 1-1 basis in the afternoon.

The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is: 

• Knowledge and Understanding of National Curriculum
• Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification
• A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards
• A Teaching Assistant who can create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
• Experience supporting generally and 1-1
• Pro-active and resilient
• Strong Behaviour Management
