By taking on the job as a class teacher, you will be fully responsible for planning and delivering fun and engaging lessons to pupils, as well as being adaptable to meet the needs of the pupils. You should hold good knowledge of KS2 in order to prepare this Year 5 for their final year in primary school and SATs. You will also be expected to attend staff meetings and parents' evenings. You will need to maintain discipline in this class to ensure pupils remain engaged and willing to learn, pupils should be pushed to achieve their potential. You will be supported by an experienced TA.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECT's and NQT's are also welcome to apply.
