As a Year 6 Teacher and English Lead, you will play a crucial role in the academic and personal development of our children. You will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that challenge and motivate learners, preparing them for the transition to secondary school and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Provide effective assessment and feedback to support student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and collaboration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the development of each child.
- Prepare our children for national assessments and examinations, instilling confidence and resilience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6, is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of leading a core subject.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for inspiring young minds and making a positive difference in their lives.
