Orka Financial is currently recruiting a Year End Accountant for a business based in Harrow. Initially, you will be needed for a three month period, but this could well continue beyond that.
Your main duties will involve Year End work in preparation for the arrival of the auditors. You will also deal with tidying up some legacy accounting issues which arose from a couple of acquisitions and a systems change. This role would suit a self-starter with good attention to detail and someone who is happy to get involved with whatever needs to be done. Ideally you will have a background working in contract roles and be available on one week's notice or less.
In order to be considered for this role you will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with a strong technical accounting background and intermediate excel skills to include pivot tables and vlook ups.
This role is hybrid with the expectation that you will be in the office for three days per week. Our client have on site parking but are also accessible via public transport.
