Our client is in search of a dedicated Year End Accountant with exceptional skills in accounting and finance to play a pivotal role in their accounting department, in the Manufacturing and Production industry, based in Grantham.

Description

• Oversee and manage all year-end accounting tasks.
  
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards.
  
• Collaborate with external auditors as necessary.
  
• Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  
• Provide support in budget preparation and financial planning.
  
• Implement financial strategies to support company objectives.
  
• Participate in financial audits and implement corrective actions.
  

Profile

A successful Year End Accountant should have:

• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• The ability to work in a team and independently.
  
• Experience using XERO.
• Able to commute to Grantham.
