Would you like to join a charity supporting 16 – 25year-olds gain skills to help them in the workplace? You will be working for a national charity who delivery supported internships for young people with autism or a learning disability. The programme provides classroom-based learning (so employability and functional skills) combined with a work experience placement – and supports the young person throughout the process.
This is a varied role split between the classroom working as a teaching assistant and a job coach providing in-work support. The charity are seeking 2 part time members of staff. Hours could be 2 - 3 days per week, or 5 days at say 10am - 2pm.
You will also support young people in the practicalities of getting to and from work.
