Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and helping them develop essential skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to youth in various settings
- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities for children
- Assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for youth participants
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and execute programs that meet the needs of the youth
- Monitor and assess the progress of youth participants
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the development and well-being of the children
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or youth in educational or mentoring roles
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus
- Ability to educate and engage children in meaningful activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting youth development
