Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a {Vacancy Title} on a Fixed Term basis (12 months) at our Community Centre based in Hackney (Pembury).
A bit about the role:
As a Youth Worker (Part Time), you will will engage with young people from the local community, designing and delivering a relevant and exciting programme of activities, as well as supporting them to develop and lead on their own projects.
Some of the key results for the role include:
- To deliver fun and engaging sessions for young people.
- Taking the lead and supporting the delivery of enriched programmes of positive activities and reflective sessions, weekly during term time and during school holidays, taking accountability for security and safe working within the youth sessions.
- Welcoming young people into the Pembury Community Centre (and any other spaces where Children's Community youth activities are delivered).
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check and you will require flexibility to work evenings, Saturdays as well as daytime hours during the school holidays. This is a 52 week per year role.
