The Opportunity:
Join the Hasel Lab as a Research Assistant at the Edinburgh Centre for Discovery Brain Sciences and UK Dementia Research Institute (see https://ukdri.ac.uk/about-us) and help us explore how astrocytes at the borders of the brain contribute to brain function and dysfunction in disease.
Your skills and attributes for success:
BSc or MSc earned or expected in a relevant discipline (neuroscience, biology, etc.).
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and in good English, orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Good organizational skills and time management.
Excellent record-keeping skills.
