Full-time: 35 hours per week Fixed-term: 24-months with possibility to extend Two positions available We are looking for two Research Assistants to work across a diverse range of meta-research projects in the CAMARADES team. This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The opportunity: The CAMARADES research group comprises world-leading preclinical meta-research scientists who aim to bring evidence to translational medicine. We welcome applications to join our team as a Research Assistant. The roles will involve supporting the conduct of a systematic review and meta-analysis of interventions to improve reproducibility in research, contributing to a project to develop guidance for the conduct of systematic reviews of in vitro research relevant to human health and systematic reviews for early phase research prioritisation in mental health. The CAMARADES group has a strong data-science skillset and develop tools to extract relevant information from biomedical publications programmatically (e.g., machine learning classifiers). The post-holder will also help to develop training sets for these tools and will have the opportunity, if desired, to develop their skills and knowledge of programming in R.
