Are you passionate about providing individualized support to students with special educational needs? Smile Education is looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Walsall, providing 1-1 support for a child with Autism in Year 5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support and assistance to meet the specific needs of a child with Autism in Year 5.
- Implement personalised learning strategies and interventions to promote the child's academic and social development.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the child feels supported, valued, and included.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child's progress and well-being.
- Previous experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs is advantageous.
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy to effectively support the child's learning and well-being.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs and preferences of the child.
