2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

Salary: £35k + Excellent Benefits

The Client:

Our client is a renowned IT solutions provider for over 3 decades, serving local businesses, schools and charities.

The Role:

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in reporting issues to maintain high service standards.

Necessary training will be privided, including in-house sessions and external courses.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor clients' infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer support.
• Swiftly diagnose reported issues to uphold a high level of service.
• Undertake diverse duties in IT service provision, including system setup and installation.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in a second-line support role.
• Familiarity with printers, including basic configuration, scan-to-folder, networking, and deployment.
• Skilled in Windows clients and servers, networking, Microsoft 365.
• Anti-virus and firewall experience. (Beneficial)
• Exchange administration skills. (Beneficial)
