Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment working for a growing company committed to people development and in providing the best service possible to their colleagues and customers alike? We are looking for candidates to join a reputable IT Solutions company experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a talented 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their Hartlepool based team.
As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support across a range of technologies. This hands-on role will give you the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies in both test and live environments, while also offering opportunities for industry-recognized training and qualifications.
We are looking for a driven individual who thrives on problem-solving and takes ownership of situations to deliver technical solutions, always prioritising needs based on your technical expertise and collaborating via your exceptional communication skills and focus on customer service.
Skills and Experience:
- Solid experience in technical support across various technologies
- Proficiency in Windows Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 and Windows 11, plus Mac Operating Systems
- Printing, Group Policy, Backup Systems and Networking
- Virtualisation experience is advantageous
- Highly motivated, conscientious and proactive approach to work
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide full 1st/2nd Line Support to resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with the helpdesk team to address support calls
- Escalate and collaborate with third-party suppliers to achieve successful issue resolution
- Conduct audits and provide recommendations for customers' IT environments
- Effectively manage and respond to incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
