Role Overview:
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support to clients, resolving complex issues, and ensuring the efficient functioning of IT systems. This role is based in Norwich, offering a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the second point of contact for technical support, addressing and resolving issues escalated from the 1st Line Support team.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure efficient problem resolution and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of support tickets, actions taken, and resolutions achieved.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support or similar role.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are advantageous.
