Role Overview:
As an Engineer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting customers by utilizing industry-leading 3D measurement equipment and inspection software. Responsibilities will include completing 3D measurements using manual and automated scanning systems, both at their facilities and at customer sites as needed. Additionally, the Engineer will assist in developing automated measurement programs, supporting ongoing projects, and contributing to service improvement procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Completing 3D measurements using manual and automated 3D scanning systems (full training provided).
- Performing 3D measurements at site and customer sites, including overnight stays when required.
- Assisting in the development of automated measurement programs and staying updated with system capabilities.
- Collaborating with other engineers to support ongoing projects.
- Contributing to the development and production of procedures for service improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree-level qualification in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience (including relevant apprenticeship).
- Demonstrated understanding of technical 2D drawings.
- Proficiency in reading and working with 3D CAD data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the UK.
