What could this opportunity look like for you?
As Ecommerce Account Development Director, you'll enjoy a varied and rewarding career, working with a team of experts in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. From working hand in hand with our existing customers to deeply understand their ecommerce strategies and supply chain needs, to developing and pitching solutions, to closing the deal and driving results – you'll be determined to delight and grow with our customers throughout every stage of the account life cycle.
You'll get to know your customers inside-out, so you can fully understand their needs and inspire the team to go above and beyond to overcome and solve their challenges. This is a high-level senior role, embedded in our hands-on culture where you'll be building relationships and engaging with people every day.

You'll make a difference at DHL Supply Chain by:
- Managing a portfolio of exciting ecommerce accounts in our existing business.
- Building a strong pipeline of exciting new opportunities to support existing customers with their .com strategies.
- Developing and presenting bespoke value add solutions throughout the account life cycle.
- Forging strong relationships with customers and maintaining our “Customer for Life” ethos.
- Collaborating with other departments throughout the sales process.
What do we need from you?
- A passion for the ecommerce sector
- Experience working in a matrix environment, managing a range of senior external and internal stakeholders
- Experience in a retail or ecommerce environment - desirable
- Experience developing and deploying .com strategies - desirable
- Experience in account management, Account Development or business development - desirable
