Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Account Development Manager to grow new and existing business by following up on marketing leads and opportunities and developing customer relationships. The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise and organise in order to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contract potential and existing customers to inform them about promotions, new products and other relevant information
- Follow up on marketing campaigns such as email click-throughs, direct mail campaigns, website visits and social media activity
- Answer questions about the company, products and services available
- Convert customer leads to sales or hot leads to pass to the external sales team
- Enter and update/cleanse database records
- Acquire a thorough knowledge of all the company's products and a general understanding of their application
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Experience with telephone sales
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and the ability to keep a cool head under pressure
- Experience or interest in an engineering field would be advantageous
