The Role
- The Account Manager is a key role within the company. Working with the regional and national retailers plus large independents to ensure that in store staff are well trained and up to date on products and promotions. The Account Manager builds a strong partnership with their retailers and works with them to develop strong Sales and Marketing strategies which will include product merchandising, promotions and advertising planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales on the territory and make sure that the company maintains its competitive advantage in the region. Developing good working partnerships with all retailers Regularly visits and managing retailers on the territory. Arranging and carrying out product training to all retail sales staff. Maintain product displays instore to a high standard.
The Candidate
- Ideally experience of selling retail furniture or a related product to large retailers. Experience of training retail staff would be very desirable. Highly motivated, focused and adaptable. Able to demonstrate a first class retail sales track record. Excellent communication skills with excellent time management skills A self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the department. Excellent numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Full clean driving licence
