Location: your contractual location can be our Manchester or Liverpool office - there will be travel involved with the current customer base mostly in the North West
Why this job matters
The Account Manager manages account retention and growth plans and drives customer success and strengthening of services solutions.
You'll work with a base of existing customers across the retail, personal/consumer services and charities vertical.
What you’ll be doing
• Drives business accounts serving as a lead escalation contact through the lifecycle of various customers.
• Monitors highly strategic opportunities (e.g., very large, long-term, high impact) within accounts and facilitates with the customer on how to best identify new opportunities, leveraging deep customer and industry relationships.
• Facilitates the review of sales results within your aligned base, monitoring productivity and forecasting.
• Ensures customer needs and challenges are communicated and understood by cross functional teams.
• Drives customer success plans that track program and revenue goals and execution towards those goals including customer satisfaction.
• Champions, continuously develops, and shares with team, knowledge on emerging trends and changes in account management.
The skills you’ll need
What we'd like to see from you
• Previous experience in a field-based Account Manager position.
• Ideally, experience within telco and/or technology.
• Experience working with customers to own the relationship, understand their requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
