The Opportunity

Are you an ambitious and diligent Part Qualified / Recently Qualified Accountant looking to join a profitable, expanding PLC?

You’ll be joining at an exciting and rewarding time - the group is amid a major investment and transformation programme which includes establishing a world class financial shared service centre. There is significant scope for career development and it’s a superb juncture to step into the business.

Your remit is a balance of management accounting, financial reporting and projects aimed at improving controls, aligning ways of working and generally adding value to stakeholders across the business units you support.

It’s a role within a large scale (~£2bn turnover) international group and the career development opportunity is outstanding - you will have very clear road maps for progression. There is also valuable opportunity to be involved in a high profile system implementation project which again is incredibly valuable and interesting experience.

Required:

• Studying toward or qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• A track record of success in a management accounting / financial accounting / reporting role - ideally within a reasonably large or complex business or group.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interrogate data effectively.
• Great eye for detail.
• Team player who enjoys working with others to solve problems and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
