Accountant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a reputable business in Bradford as they look to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis, the candidate will ideally be from an Accountancy Practice / Financial Services background.   
You will report directly into the UK Finance Manager and take responsibility for the timely and accurate preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax & sales tax returns. 

Job responsibilities:

• Provide collaborative and challenging business partnering to local finance and business teams to ensure that management and financial accounts are meaningful and are robust and compliant with internal and external requirements.
• Work with internal and external audit teams on behalf of our internal customers.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax and sales tax returns.
• Identify operational and financial risks, and escalate making recommendations for any required process changes to manage/mitigate risks identified as a result.
• Prepare more complex balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that they consistently meet a high level of quality.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA or willingness to work towards it.
• Solid experience from Accountancy Practice / Financial Services background
• Solid experience of technical finance processes
