Accountant

Responsibilities: - Manage clients to ensure documentation is provided in a timely fashion - Communicate with the client in language they can understand to ensure accounts are produced as accurately as possible - Prepare workpapers ensuring all balance sheet accounts have supporting documentation - Prepare Annual Accounts for limited companies using TaxCalc software - Prepare Corporation and Individual tax returns using TaxCalc software - Communicate with clients to provide them with an understanding of their accounts and results for the period - Review workpapers for other accountants to ensure they are prepared accurately - Mentor a team of 4 bookkeepers and assist them with bookkeeping related queries - Assist the Managing Director with Adhoc Accounting and Analysis tasks generated via client enquiries - Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting best practices - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skill
