Accountant

Are you an Accountant available immediately (or on a very short notice period) and looking for some contract work to keep your hand in the accounting arena? It's a perfect position for the finance and accountancy contractors our there.

We have a 6-month contract available with a superb organisation based in Chippenham. You will be done by the summer holidays, if that’s the time you like to have off to enjoy the warmer months!

Our client is very well established and they thrive in their sector which is predominantly linked to charities and right now they need an additional pair of credible hands to come on board and support the Head of Finance, Senior Accountant and the commercial team.

This one-off project-based role of establishing the accuracy of their revenue will see you getting involved in the detail and reviewing all revenue related data including:

• Reviewing client contracts
• Reviewing the pricing matrix for each
• Interrogating the pricing in the contract and matrix, ensuring all follows through from data gathering to the actual invoice generation for each contract
• Supporting the finance and commercial teams with the consolidation of two individual invoicing processes and recommending improvements where appropriate to support the streamlining of internal revenue related processes
• Reporting all anomalies found to the Head of Finance and to work with the finance and commercial teams to address all corrections

An Accountant who has prior revenue and pricing experience is sort after for this contract and if you are someone who likes to dive into the detail and unravel things (from a finance perspective), you will absolutely thrive in this role with an analytical and audit approach keeping you steadfast.

Clear and concise communication skills go without saying and being a true team collaborator is essential.
You will be seen as a credible and a trusted advisor, so must have a proven ability of making observations and offering necessary solutions.

In return, you only need to be office based 3 days per week with 2 days working remotely and the salary within reason is negotiable for the right person.

The company has car parking and the office is within a brand new building, built to the spec required just for them and their requirements.
