Accountant

Our client, a successful and established business, are looking for a hardworking, detail oriented Accountant to join their friendly team in Worthing on a part-time basis.

As an Accountant, you will become a vital member of the team, responsible for managing the company's finances. You will help with budgeting and forecasting, analyse financial data for decision-making insights, and work with all departments to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities as an Accountant

• Managing financial transactions
• Reconciling accounts
• Preparing financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Financial record keeping and reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Tax compliance
• Audit Support
• Analysis and interpretation
• Integrating Nory into our supply/inventory and ordering platform
• Payroll processing for up to 200 individuals using our scheduling software
• Supporting and training our Bookkeeper
• Helping with the smooth running of the office operation
• Assisting with all other areas and duties where appropriate

Experience / Skills

• 1 year Accounting experience essential
• Qualified Accountant ACCA or equivalent
• Payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree (desirable)
• Experience with Nory software (desirable)
• Technically Proficient, specifically with Excel and Xero
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to adapt and learn new software

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Worthing

Salary: £12,000 - £14,000 per annum

Part Time: 12 - 16 hours per week with weekend availability
