Accountant -The post holder will be responsible to the Strategic Finance Manager and Senior Accountants and the successful candidate will assist on a team providing a range of financial services, advice, information and guidance.
The Accountant will actively assist the Strategic Finance Manager and Senior Accountants in providing financial information and advice relating to all aspects of budget planning, preparation and monitoring through to the completion of final accounts and government returns.  

Accountant Candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working to strict deadlines and a commitment to improving standards through continuous improvement and staff development.

Other key responsibilities will include supporting the Senior Accountants in developing financial information in response to user needs, government legislation, developing links between performance and financial information, and supporting the efficiency agenda.

Candidates should preferably be CCAB fully qualified accountants, or AAT qualified with minimum 2 years post qualification experience, with experience of successfully providing the full range of accounting services in a public or private sector environment.
