Accountant

Our client, a successful and established business, are looking for a hardworking, detail oriented Accountant to join their friendly team in Worthing on a part-time basis. As an Accountant, you will become a vital member of the team, responsible for managing the company's finances. You will help with budgeting and forecasting, analyse financial data for decision-making insights, and work with all departments to maintain accurate financial records. Responsibilities as an Accountant Managing financial transactions Reconciling accounts Preparing financial statements Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Financial record keeping and reporting Budgeting and forecasting Tax compliance Audit Support Analysis and interpretation Integrating Nory into our supply/inventory and ordering platform Payroll processing for up to 200 individuals using our scheduling software Supporting and training our Bookkeeper Helping with the smooth running of the office operation Assisting with all other areas and duties where appropriate Experience / Skills 1 year Accounting experience essential Qualified Accountant ACCA or equivalent Payroll experience Bachelor's degree (desirable) Experience with Nory software (desirable) Technically Proficient, specifically with Excel and Xero Keen attention to detail Ability to adapt and learn new software Excited to be part of an award-winning team Benefits Company pension Discounted or free food Employee discount Gym membership Job Title: Accountant Location: Worthing Salary: £12,000 - £14,000 per annum Part Time: hours per week with weekend availability For more information about this part-time Accountant role, please contact Katie at Clearline Recruitment.
