Jenson Fisher is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our clients who are a successful, long established business based in the heart of Dundee. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial information and guidance to the senior management team and, using Sage and Microsoft Excel, you will be responsible for ensuring that their financial records are accurate and up to date.
In a role which will suit either an experienced Accountant with a diverse commercial background, on a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and overseeing all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and presenting these to the senior management team.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and providing guidance as required.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- VAT returns.
- Resolving any accounts queries as they arise.
