Accounting Manager

Anderson Knight are currently looking to recruit an Accounting Manager to join one of our key clients who are a globally renowned Investment business.

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing their accounting operations and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, contribute to strategic financial planning, and uphold the firm's commitment to delivering exceptional service.

This will suit an ambitious individual who is looking to make the step up to a management role as my client will consider candidates with no prior management experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reports, statements, and tax filings.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial advice.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for process improvement.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making at both client and firm levels.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Qualifications:

• Qualified ACCA / CIMA / CA
• Proven experience 2 in a senior finance role, preferably within an Accountancy Firm.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
