Accounting Technician

Your new company
You will work for a leading company that has been in business for over 50 years. With their head office in Derry, they also have two other sites in the northwest. They are widely known for their dedicated and trusted teams and now is the perfect time to join this company as they expand their finance department.
Your new role
As Accounting Technician you will report to the Management Accountant and play an integral part within the finance team. Your duties will include: bank reconciliations, debits / credits, key account reconciliations and analysis, weekly / monthly reporting, coordinating communication between various departments, liaise with third parties, updating and creating customer records and other duties as requested by the Management Accountant.
What you\'ll need to succeed

• An Accounting Technician qualification is desirable but not essential
• At least 2 years experience of bookkeeping procedures and best practices
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work on own initative and within a team environment
• Excellent IT skills, including proficient knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
