AddressCogent Staffing are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join our client, an established waste management company, on a full time basis. No previous waste experience necessary but accounts administration and Sage experience are essential.
Shifts/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00-17:00, some flexibility in start/finish times
- Starting at £26,000 salary
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high standard of customer service both verbally and electronically.
- Process sales orders, delivery notes and invoices.
- Provide general admin support to the office including sales and purchase ledger, payroll, payments and receipts and VAT returns.
- Answering calls and responding to general email enquiries.
- Updating and maintaining company databases.
- Preparing and assisting with quarter and year end accounts.
- Assisting with credit control and supplier pay.
- Generating monthly statements.
- Supporting in relevant administrative duties.
Key requirements:
- Must have experience with Sage.
- Must have experience dealing with finance and accounts administration.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Confident when dealing with customers/clients over the phone.
- Experienced in an office setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in use of computers for general duties.
This is a permanent role following a successful qualifying period of around 12 weeks.
