The Opportunity
To support the Senior Management Accountant and contribute to the day to day activities of the business and any other job-related tasks. To provide and process information accurately and meet demands/deadlines of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the processing of purchase invoices
- Chase and deal with any queries relating to PO’s and GRN’s
- Assist in the processing of expenses, credit cards and deal with any queries
- Support the Finance Manager and the team with Accounts related queries
- Telephone accounts primarily / reception secondarily
- Assist and maintain the accounts filing system
- Responsible for reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Responsible for the setup of new suppliers
- Assist in preparation of the payment run
- Carry out any other reasonable job-related tasks
Personal Profile
- Some numeracy and accounting skills
- Experience in working with accounting packages
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Working towards or aspire to attain an accounts qualification i.e. AAT
