Circa £32,000 - £36,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Carmarthen who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Senior to their growing team.

Working as an Accounts & Audit Senior, the successful person will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors.

You will be responsible for leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a range of clients including group structured entities and large stand-alone limited companies, as well as some not-for-profits. The workload won’t solely be audit focused and will include the preparation and review of year-end Accounts and corporation tax compliance work.

You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position. Experience of leading audit assignments is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion

Accounts preparation and review for sole traders, limited companies & partnerships

Preparation of management Accounts and reports for clients

Preparation of corporate tax returns

Supervising & developing more junior members of staff

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist

Experience of leading Audit assignments
