Form of workNXTGEN are working in exclusive partnership with a business based in Thetford who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their close knit finance team on full time basis. As Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to maintain the AP/AR functions as well as offering support with payroll and supplier queries. This is a great role for an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join an award winning business. This is a role that will offer variety to your day so being able to prioritise workloads is a must.
Key Responsibilities include: -
-Maintain AP/AR ledgers in a timely manner -
-Post invoices and chase outstanding invoices in a timely manner
-Efficiently deal with supplier queries
-Support with daily reconciliation and petty cash
-Assist with monthly payroll
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified, however, QBE candidates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience gained in a high volume purchase ledger environment is highly desirable combined with good Excel skills. A proactive approach and an attention to detail are essential qualities candidates will need to demonstrate to be considered.
