This role is perfect for an Accounts Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in an accounts department who is seeking a new challenge.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Perform office administration and data entry tasks.
• Update and reconcile financial ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for the firm.
• Prepare financial documents such as invoices and expense reports.
• Verify company expenses, bank deposits, and payments.
• Report any discrepancies, mistakes, or potential fraud to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations as well as in-house policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience within an accounts department.
• Higher education achievement is desirable.
• High level of competence in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organisational skills used in planning own work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
• A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
