Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a growing Sheffield based business, who are actively seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager with all transactional aspects. This role offers a chance to contribute to the company's ambitious growth plans and allows for personal development. The ideal candidate would either be studying AAT or be a graduate with some finance experience. The role is adaptable and dependent on experience levels. - Preparing customer billing by importing files and checking service and call charges
- Credit Control - Agreeing payment dates with customers
- Purchase Ledger: Saving PDF's of all supplier invoices emailed in.
- Processing all supplier invoices in QuickBooks (coding to the relevant nominal)
- Responding to supplier payment queries
- Set up new supplier accounts and update existing supplier accounts
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing all credit card transactions
- Processing employee expenses
- Investigate purchase ledger queries
- Studying AAT or graduated with a Finance degree
- Motivated and self-driven with can do attitude
- Proven experience within an accounts role (Advantageous)
- Experience of using Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
