The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work in a growing construction projects company. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure that financial information is recorded in a timely manner, maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers, cash allocation, reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting. The role is varied working closely with department managers and associated project contractors and subcontractors.
The Candidate
You will have proven financial administrative skills and extensive ledgers experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction, demonstrating a combination of financial acumen, attention to detail, and familiarity with the requirements of the industry. Effective communication and organisational skills are also essential for co-ordinating financial activities with various stakeholders involved with client projects. You will possess the ability to demonstrate confidence and collaborative working, to be able to prioritise and work to deadlines, work with initiative and be able to identify problems and develop solutions.
