This is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of going beyond 3 months
An iconic and high-profile client of ours is looking for a proven Assistant Accountant to join the team as soon as possible. The business is extremely successful has an outstanding reputation and has an amazing opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to be part of the team.
About the role
You will be working alongside the financial and management accountants to prepare a robust and fully supported and analysed trial balance.
- Bring accounting for bank transactions up to date and reconcile in Sage X3
- Bring accounting for credit card receipts up to date and reconcile in Sage X3
- Bring accounting for credit card and expense petty cash up to date
- Prepare month-end and year-end journals
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and adjust journals
- Analyse key P&L and BS accounts for management accounts commentaries and variance analysis
- Prepare financial statement disclosures and notes
- Prepare responses to the Prepared by Client (PBC) lists from the company's auditors
- Prepare schedules to support the company corporation tax computation e.g. disallowed expenditure
