Accounts Assistant

Are you an active AAT studier who possesses 1-2 years experience within finance seeking a new diverse role at the transactional level?

We have recently partnered with a highly successful business based in Southend-on-Sea who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their established finance team.

This Accounts Assistant position will include multiple areas of transactional finance including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Month-End.

Responsibilities include:

• High volume of invoice processing.
• Matching and coding invoices.
• Producing the weekly payment runs.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Allocating payments.
• Assisting with month-end processes.
• Credit Control.
• Ad-hoc duties.

What you will need:

• AAT actively studying/qualified.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• 2+ years of experience in transactional finance.
• Solid communication and organizational skills.
• Works well within a fast-paced environment.
