SalaryWe are currently representing one of the UK’s leading residential property lettings and management companies, sourcing an Accounts Assistant to join the team in a permanent role.
This full-time role reports to the Finance Team Leader and will give you excellent experience working in a busy finance team.
The role is based in their offices near Torquay 2-3 days a week with the option to work remotely for the other days.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing supplier invoices in line with company standards.
- Council tax and utility administration.
- Monitoring emails.
- Contacting suppliers for missing invoices.
- Raising fees to clients.
- Assisting with payment runs.
- Posting tenant receipts.
- Lodging tenant deposits.
- Processing tenant refunds.
- Raising tenant charges and reconciling accounts.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Running reports and landlord statements.
- Dealing with internal queries.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 preferred but equivalent work experience would be considered
- AAT Level 2 or relevant work experience is desirable
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Reliable
HOURS, SALARY & LOCATION
- The working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- £22-24k per annum depending on experience
- Based 3 days a week in Torquay office, 2 days remote
