Workforce Planning Technology Analyst

Job Title: Workforce Planning Technology Analyst
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Birmingham preferably but open to other locations around the UK
My client is looking for a Workforce Planning Technology Analyst to join their team. You will be required to:
* Work collaboratively with the Workforce planning team to understand and develop the WFP policy, process and is responsible for WFP technology development.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop Workforce Planning tooling (Anaplan) to optimise WFP process, end user experience and analysis. Anaplan model builder certification and experience would be ideal.
* Work with the Workforce Planning Technology lead on technical WFP product design & development of analytics and data structures.
* Design and development of effective WFP reporting and analysis to improve planning practice and drive value for a range of stakeholders in HR, Finance, COO, CAO and Exec teams.
* Work with the Workforce Planning Technology lead on designing the integration of WFP with HR data & WSI analytics and engaging with wider teams such as HR IT, Data Engineering, and Anaplan to drive implementation.
* Incorporation of existing WSI reporting & analytics into WFP processes to drive improved planning accuracy and value. Work with WSI to develop new reporting and analytics utilising Workforce Planning data.
* Work with GB/GF/DBS & Geography COO, CAO, Finance and HR teams to enable the consistent build, submission, collation and analysis of Workforce plans.
* Work with the WFP team and wider WSI to assist with development and deployment of Workforce Planning analysis and scenario planning functionality primarily with the Data Engineering team.
* Employs agile operating model principles; managing work through features, epics & stories with Scrum Masters to facilitate delivery of scoped and sized packages of work.
* Demonstrates and executes best practice Workforce Planning policy, processes and tools, based on HSBC context.
* Continuously improve Workforce Planning and analysis processes through collaborative working with GB/GF/DBS and by establishing feedback mechanisms.
Essential Experience:
* Understanding of Workforce Planning best practice, external trends, and developments.
* Understanding of Workforce Planning analytics and technologies.
* Fully operational in Agile methodology.
* Experience of working in a large matrix organisation, ideally international.
