You will be joining a well-established, private equity backed services business that is growing steadily, and they want you to join them in this exciting and progressive Accounts Assistant role. You will have the opportunity to gain varied experience of transactional accounting processes and have scope to support the Finance Manager and Management Accountant too.
Duties:
- Processing supplier invoices, matching, batching, and coding supplier invoices, and processing supplier payments
- Raising sales invoices and intercompany sales invoices, and completing billings accurately
- Posting transactions on to the bank and reconciling bank statements
- Supporting the Finance Manager with reconciling intercompany transactions and balances
- Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and customers
- Processing employee expenses
- Supporting the wider finance team with monthly management accounts and year-end audit
About You:
- Highly numerate and financially aware
- Studying a professional accounting qualification such as AAT
- Willingness to learn
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
