Our ever-growing client have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join their friendly and welcoming accounts team on a permanent basis from their offices in the picturesque town of Cirencester. This role can offer flexible working hours and they will consider applicants on a Full or Part Time basis.
To be considered you must have some previous experience working in an accounts team along with a good work ethic and a strong desire to learn. Responsibilities:
-To assist in the accounts production for all clients as required by the directors to ensure all client accounts are prepared on a timely basis.
-To assist in the preparation of final accounts, including tax computations and returns.
-Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and personal tax returns.
-Attend training programmes as required to ensure that you remain up to date with changes
-Assist with training clients and other staff members in the operation of computerised accounting packages
-Ad hoc bookkeeping and administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Attributes:
-Previous experience within an accounts position
-Attention to detail with excellent organisation skills
-Ability to get stuck in and work well as a team
-Keen attitude with the desire to take on more responsibilities as required
-Excellent communication skills with good telephone manner
Hours: Monday – Friday, flexible working hours can be negotiated between the hours of 8:45am – 5pm (Full or Part Time considered)
Salary: Between £25 – 35k depending on experience + free parking and support towards industry specific qualifications
