Sellick Partnership is currently assisting in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant for a national financial services organisation in Newcastle on a permanent basis. This role is paying between £24,000 - £27,000 and offers study support.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
- Maintenance of the computerised client ledgers and related records
- Assist with the daily banking and providing a daily list of cheques received by the business
- Assist in the receiving and transferring of monies to other firms via CHAPS
- Correctly enter office related monies onto computerised accounting system
- Assist with the transferring of funds to pay outstanding invoices
- Assist with purchase ledger to ensure correct payments to suppliers and maintain ledger records of such payments
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Good attention to detail
