Hays Accountancy and Finance are working in partnership with a prominent organisation based in the heart of the city centre with circa 35 million turnover and 500m of assets.
This is a role within the senior team to work collaboratively and cohesively to manage operational performance across the organisation.
You will proactively lead the Finance Division in contributing to the Strategic Plan and Growth Strategy, ensuring timely and accurate production of long term and annual revenue and capital budgets, analysis and reports.
Salary£66k pro rata per annum. The successful candidate would also be enroled in our healthcare scheme, 25 days pro rata per annum annual leave and car parking.
Your new role
- As a member of the Senior Team, you will work collaboratively and cohesively to manage operational performance across the organisation and ensure achievement of in-year performance targets;
- You will proactively lead the Finance Directorate in contributing to the Group’s Strategic Plan and Growth Strategy, ensuring timely and accurate production of long term and annual revenue and capital budgets, analysis and reports, and you will ensure that appropriate mechanisms and oversight are in place to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance;
- You will maintain an external focus and represent the organisation, acting as an ambassador to enhance its reputation;
- You will identify priorities and align resources to meet the strategic and operational objectives set out in the group’s corporate plan;
- You will contribute to the debate to set the strategic direction for the whole group and its subsidiaries to ensure delivery of the group’s business plan.
What you'll need to succeed
CCAB Fully Qualified Accountant (with minimum 5 years PQE). Minimum of five years post qualification experience (within the last 10 years) of financial management.Minimum of five years’ experience of the preparation and review of management accounts and budgets.Minimum of five years’ experience of the preparation of statutory accounts including the compilation and review of appropriate working papers and dealing with external auditors.Minimum of five years’ experience of computerised financial systems and financial modelling using advanced spreadsheet techniques or similar systems.At least two years’ experience of successful leadership and management of a high-performing staff team.
