The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will be:
Maintaining financial records and processing transactionsExperience in Sales/ purchase ledgerAssisting with payroll preparation and managing records
Preparing monthly financial reports
Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
Liaising with the team and external auditors
Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies
Previous transactional finance experience
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:Previous experience working in a similar transactional finance role
Experience in Sage software and intermediate excel skillsProficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
